This Bookmarklet can help the historian in any netizen. It can dig up the old copy of the web page that you are browsing from the web.archives.org for you. You can specify the year for which you want to track the evolution of a website or can have a look at the whole trail of the current webpage from the day it started. It is a fun to have a look at the old copies of many websites ...

How to Install :
1. Copy the code given above to clipboard.
2. Add a new entry to your Favorites menu.
3. Take the property of the newly added Bookmark by right clicking on it from Favorites menu and paste the copied code in to the URL textbox in the resultant property box.
4. Press Ok. (If an warning message is shown regarding Javascript Protocol, continue with the Yes button)
5. Now while reading a page online, if you want to know how that page looked years ago, just click on this bookmarklet.
